Utilizing established procedures, works with general supervision to process/maintain accounts payable information on a daily basis.
Provides needed monthly information for monthly closing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Include the following.
Other duties will be assigned as deemed necessary by operations & staff management) Matches invoices to receiving documents.
Assists in maintaining the Accounts Payable schedule to ensure received items are paid in a timely manner.
Enters invoices into the system and initiates payments via the weekly check runs and wires, as needed.
Files invoices and receiving documents.
Types, records and files manual checks.
Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules.
Must have ability and desire to work well with others.
Meets attendance requirements.
Performs other duties as deemed necessary.
Performs other duties as required or directed, as they become necessary Skills and Abilities Strong computer skills.
Good people/interpersonal skills.
Solid organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects while meeting required deadlines Ability to perform under diverse and ever changing environment.
Education and Experience High School Diploma or G.
E.
D Minimum of two (2) years experience in Accounts Payable preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
